Born in India, Anupama has spent the majority of her life in the United States. With her masters degree in computer science, she started her career working for top IT firms in Silicon Valley, California. After 13 years of being an IT professional, she decided to venture out. She pursued her second masters in interior design and moved to North Carolina. This move opened up a wide range of opportunities for her. A combination of having more time in her hand and a very supportive community, she studied business planning and successfully launched her own food company. This new role as an entrepreneur was challenging yet very rewarding. Her accomplishment and growth as a business owner, motivated her to create something bigger. She, along with her partner , launched an apparel manufacturing firm in India. Lenis Motus Private Limited is Lily and Bridge's sister company that supplies major manufacturing demands globally. Her food company experience and elaborate network world wide, gives her the sourcing strength when it comes to procure the best of the best food products at unbeatable price. Anupama is passionate about ethical resourcing and high standards in quality, having her feet in the ground where she procures from, gives her the confidence that she is doing it right.
